It might help your runner as well!

I'd say try to find a trainer in your area who will talk to you about the pros and cons of using different collars, and how best to utilize one. I have heard of using an ecollar to proof recall, but I'm not sure where it would fit in with your girl.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10562151546770315227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938120942169485220.post-73718155401561611222013-04-18T14:27:32.658-04:002013-04-18T14:27:32.658-04:00In general, I don't like them, but I also thin...In general, I don't like them, but I also think people who use them should do so as educated and informed as possible. Your use of it on the rescue to stop him chasing the horses sounds to me like judicious usage of an ecollar, appropriate and non damaging.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10562151546770315227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938120942169485220.post-71692705770934581952013-04-16T12:57:53.340-04:002013-04-16T12:57:53.340-04:00I'm wondering what you think of a vibrational/...I'm wondering what you think of a vibrational/tone collar? I have a lab, rescued and she's a runner. She'll do great for a while but then boom one day she'll take off on me. Hubby wants to use an e-collar but I'm totally against it. I have however considered the vibrating collar, but I'm really on the fence about it.Jodihttp://www.heartlikeadog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938120942169485220.post-52490073156479413312013-04-15T20:59:00.517-04:002013-04-15T20:59:00.517-04:00The prong collars are crazy as well as the people ...The prong collars are crazy as well as the people who use them!

MasonAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09116941879170810330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938120942169485220.post-22035024099298367702013-04-15T20:58:35.829-04:002013-04-15T20:58:35.829-04:00Sometimes necessary Sam :(

We only had to use it once, on a low setting, to stop him. I don't like them, and never want to use one again, but for his situation it worked where no training ever had before.

SamHow Sam Sees Ithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08305827999885588071noreply@blogger.com
