As a traffic leash or in a store, I think it would be great. But for walking all the time? Maybe if I was really really working on heel specifically (not loose leash, as the shock-absorby nature of it seems like it would maintain enough tension to render that concept moot with a lot of feedback). I'm...I've seen a few reviews of this leash. I'm not sure when it's most useful. I thought it might be helpful when I'm walking an unruly foster dog with Honey. But I wonder if the short length might cause more problems than the shock absorber solves.<br /><br />Did you think it's a reasonable substitute for your regular leash?
