Sticking with Petfinder, here are a couple of other senior Dobermans looking for homes.
This is Keno, in Maryland, with the organization of Doberman Assistance, Rescue, and Education, Inc. Keno is a black and rust, cropped and docked boy. He's 9 years old, and weighs in at around 80 pounds. He was returned to DAR&E because his owner moved to a community where no large dogs are allowed; he's housebroken, has good manners, and rides well in the car. If you're interested in adopting him, you can read about DARE&E's adoption policies here.
Brittney is with Second Chance Dobes in Clinton, Michigan. She's a black and tan girl, 9 years old, and all natural!
Brittney gets along well with other dogs, and is very energetic. The adoption application for Second Chance Dobes can be seen here.
Daisy is a natural eared, docked blue girl with Doberman Rescue Alliance, Wisconsin. Daisy is a sweet girl who is calm and gets along well with other dogs. She's also described as even tempered and eager to please, and of course intelligent! If you think Daisy is a dog you'd like to add to your life, here's the adoption info for DRAW, inc.
Awesome! Hopefully it will all work out

DeleteI'm always so glad to see a deserving dog get a good home. It takes a special person to adopt a senior dog. Good for you to feature these great dogs on your blog.
ReplyDeleteI really hate to see them overlooked by merit of age, especially because it's something I was so willing to do a couple of years ago.
