It's purple, not Elka's favorite color (or Jim's, for that matter), but it's fleecy and it fits her and it seems to get instantly warm! Considering how cold it got over the weekend, and how it's in the high 40's this evening, I popped Elka into the coat to take a few pictures to share with you!
The contest was a fun and simple one. We were to say which coat our dog would love, and why. My entry was:
Elka would love Item #3! Her hair is like eyelashes, so when it gets cold out, she shivers! She still loves being outside, though, on walks in the park and in the neighborhood. And when it snows out, she’s extra bouncy!Kind of goofy, though fun, and I was perhaps understandably surprised (But very pleased!) when I saw the email that we had won! The package also came right away, after I provided Dogster with my address. Another bonus: the box contained, not only Elka's new coat, but also a very nice thank you note to both of us, some Dogster stickers, and a Dogster poop bag dispenser (with some bags)!
Considering some dog coats cost as much as, if not more than, human coats, I was so very happy to receive this coat for Elka. She was super excited as well.
So, thank you, Dogster, for your generosity. It's much appreciated in this household!
Awesome Coat!
