Save the Date: July 23 is when Dog Bloggers unite for rescue!
We may have gotten Elka from a breeder, but that does not mean that I don't support adoption and rescue. The two ideas aren't mutually exclusive, you see. So, on July 23, I will be joining my fellow pet bloggers to talk about Dog Rescue!
I'm taking part in Monday's event too. :-) Nothing wrong with getting a dog from a good breeder. My four footers are rescues, but that's my thing. My parent's have always gotten wonderful GSD's over the years from good breeders, and I see nothing wrong with it. Pet stores, however, don't get me started. LOL!
Yes, there's a distinct difference between purchasing from a good breeder, who breeds carefully and with the purpose of bettering the breed for the future, and purchasing from a puppy mill.
I'll be blogging too, even though all my dogs are from breeders and I have been a breeder.
