Can't we just cuddle?

I was reading on the chaise lounge part of the leather couch the other day, and Miss Elka decided that she needed to be up there with me. We lay together companionably for awhile, but of course I couldn't just let things be. I had to get the camera.

To her credit, she stayed pretty much where she was for the first couple of shots. Perhaps she hoped I'd tire of my troublesome picture taking.

It was cute, though, and I didn't want to let the bloggable moment pass.

After awhile, she'd had enough, and went to get Gumby. But really? I just wanted to keep reading.
