Guiding Eyes Library visitor

In my town, there are people who raise puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. One of my regular library patrons frequently ends up as a puppy sitter for the weekend, or for a couple of weeks, and the library is a great place for these puppies (of all ages!) to learn. We've got stairs, people, lots of new smells, and an elevator!

If I remember right, this little girl's name is Monroe. I took this picture awhile ago, actually, so she's probably a much more mature young lady by this point. But I was going through my phone and found them, and remembered I'd asked permission to share.

She just looked so proud and happy, how could I not?

In other news, I'm yet again working in CampNaNoWriMo. This time, I'm running a writing workshop at the library as well! It's been fun and interesting, and mentally time consuming.

  1. I'm glad that such fabulous dogs like Monroe can help blind people. I agree, your library is a good place to learn... not only for humans :o)
