Sometimes I get a little classy. Pork tenderloin wrapped with prosciutto, served with brown rice and broccoli. All of it Elka-friendly....but I confess, I didn't share much. Some of the broccoli!
Yum and how funny I almost bought one yesterday with the idea of slicing really thin to make dehydrated chews. I had been wanting to try a fish stew so I went with that.
Pruscuitto wrapped pork tenderloin is a big time favourite in our house. I like to put chopped sage between the tenderloin and the pruscuitto and then I make a tart apple gastrique to drizzle over it. So, so tasty... and now I want pork. I wonder if I can convince the Daddy to make a late night grocery run. If it's in the oven soon, we can eat before midnight!
It looks like a red sausage... makes me hungry... noms... At least, Elka got to taste some of it!

For a second I was wondering what it was and then I read the description. Yum! Now how did Elka not just sneak the whole thing away from you? :)
ReplyDeleteSounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteOh, that sounds really yummy!
ReplyDeleteWow this looks great!!! Broccoli for you - the pork for me?
ReplyDeleteI think my dogs eat broccoli just so they won't hurt my feelings.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Elka loved sharing!
ReplyDeleteYummers! Great ~ Now I'm hungry.....

I love sausages! They're one of my favourite things to eat. It's been many years since I had brown rice though. I remember the taste well :(
ReplyDeleteWhen mom looked at this picture she thought it was a dachshund sleeping. We need a new assistant ASAP
