You'll be happy to know that Roscoe, the parvo affected Doberman, has been released from hospital care to one of the Doberman Assistance Network's foster mamas! This is great news; let's hope that the poor dude continues to improve, so that he might go on to rescue, and to a great forever home.
DAN relies on donations (and I'm sure grants) to continue to provide care and services like this for dogs like Roscoe, and the others sure to come after. As always, the DAN Sponsorship page is always open. You can donate to a specific case you've heard about (by using the "special instructions" Paypal field) or just donate to the general fund. There is also the Flower Power Fundraiser, a nice green way to help. Beautify your yard, help save Dobermans. Win win, right?
The DAN general funds wish list is there for your perusal on Amazon. The neat thing about Amazon.com wish lists is that items are not restricted to sale on the Amazon site; it's a web-wide list, all gathered in one convenient location. Making a purchase via the wish list saves you the shipping step; Amazon (or whatever seller) takes care of that for you. Just be sure to leave your information, so that DAN can send you a thank you card (if you want a thank you card)!
Here's a new fundraiser that I hadn't yet heard of: Mixed bag designs. If you note Fundraiser ID # 187907 at checkout, The Doberman Assistance Network will receive 40% of the proceeds. It's tote bags, back packs, that kind of thing. They look like they have some pretty neat styles and patterns to choose from.
Good news for Roscoe!
