NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow! (non dog related .gif post)

NaNoWriMo eve is upon us!

Are you going to participate? Do you know somebody who is?

(word warriors, perhaps?)

NaNoWriMo is an interesting time for me. A lot of people who blog about it, and who participate on the NaNoWriMo forums, talk about how profoundly freaked they are. About how insane it is. Etc. Etc.

And I'm all


I mean, yeah. It can be really intimidating. But writers write, y'know? NaNoWriMo wants you to write every day. That's the ultimate goal. Whether you complete 50k in 30 days or not, if you participated, you won, because you got words on the page.


So really, if you want to write ANYTHING? Go ahead and do it. You're the only one who can write your story (poem, novel, letter, comic book, comic strip). Do it.
