Conklin NY Doberman Update: Sasha has gone home, Houston might be next!

So, I emailed the Broome County Humane Society because really, if I'm posting about dogs in their care, they might want to add some insight!

The animal profiles on each page had been updated, which I hadn't noticed, so there is more information there already to glean about each dog.

I was also informed that Sasha has gone to her home (yay!) and that they hope to send Houston home this weekend (double yay!)

Handsome Houston. Fingers crossed that his adoption goes well! This boy is 10, a sweetie, and doesn't really bark a whole lot. Definite bonus! It suggests (to me) that he's still pretty confident despite what he went through.

Nani

According to the Broome County Humane Society page, Nani is a sweet and shy girl. Because she is 10 years old, her adoption is $50 cheaper. 10 and in a shelter, after being starved! This girl deserves a loving home with lots of comfy beds and people willing to be patient with her while she learns a new environment.

Dusty

Dusty, the lucky Doberman boy that he is, is in a foster home! He's well behaved, gets along well with other dogs, and is of course eating up being a loved and "spoiled" house dog, replete with beds! Dusty is 4, just a single year older than Elka! His foster people are easily reachable through the Broome County Humane Society to set up a meet and greet if you think that Dusty might make a wonderful addition to your home.

Storm

Last but not least is Storm, an 8 year old albino boy. Storm is shy with strangers; can you blame him? Apparently, though, once he knows you, he warms up well and is a lover. He also gets the senior discount of $50 off of his adoption price, which is kind of a neat thing for the Broome County Humane Society to do, I think. Maybe it's a standard thing for senior adoptions? I don't really know.

It's also important to note that every adoption of a dog includes:

Rabies Vaccination (if age appropriate)
Distemper (Includes Parvo/Adenovirus/Parainfluenza Vaccination)
Bordetella Vaccination
Fecal Check for Parasites & De-worming
Flea Preventative
Spay or Neuter
Free Veterinary Visit at Any Participating Vet
Microchipping, if Dog Has Been Spayed/Neutered at Our Facility
Fees as follows:
Spayed Females: $187.50
Neutered Males: $172.50
Puppies: $150.50
Senior Dogs: $50 Off above
For Senior Adopters, adopting dogs over 7 years old: 1/2 Off above

Additionally, this is the shelter's wish list, so even if you can't adopt or give a monetary donation (though those can be given online through Paypal), they welcome any donation of the following items!

These are the items needed to keep the shelter running.
