Breed prejudice isn't true, isn't fair, and doesn't get anybody anywhere. Dobermans are our pets. They're in our homes, they love our children (for things other than dinner). They are fun dogs, they are serious dogs, they are service dogs.
A Doberman is my dog.
I remember when Dobermans were the Pit Bulls in society. It is so sad how we vilify entire breeds.
ReplyDeleteI love Dobies - my experience with them has been nothing but positive - loyal, gentle, serious, clowns. Everything one looks for in a good dog.
I think (or hope!) most Doberman owners tend to be the kind of people that can handle a smart cookie dog like a Doberman. Or at least the ones that keep their pets!
DeleteLove it; have only met wonderful Dobies doing transport and with my mix, Justus.
ReplyDeleteMost people have only met wonderful Dobies, from the stories I've been hearing. Hopefully, it means people are getting over the Hollywood hype.
